I live at the fruit farm. Or at least it probably appears that way from this blog. Seems like lately a lot of my layouts feature photos from trips to get some berries… or apple donuts. Whatever. 😉
When my parents were in town this past weekend, we went raspberry picking together. Naturally, I brought my camera, snagged these photos, and then made this layout. Once again, the Felicity Jane Maggie kit is the perfect match of papers and colors for my photos.
For this layout, I used the papers from the kit, a doily, a couple of the cut apart stickers & also a ripped up old book page that I used for added interest in my layering.
I also did a little sloppy stitching, too. Have I mentioned how much I’m loving my sewing machine?!
The “another adventure- another day” strip is the reverse side of the branding strip on one of the papers. Love using those extras!
I shared on Instagram how I received my mama’s old typewriter this weekend, so I got to use it for the first time with this layout…. not without mistakes, though! 😉
I actually think those little mistakes are what make using it so interesting. I don’t mind things like this. I think it just adds character.
I also used the stamp set that came in the kit this month to write “so much love” on the tag.
And, of course, I finished out the layout by putting a couple clips on the page, too.
That’s that! I hope you enjoyed looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it. 🙂 I have SO much of the Maggie Kit leftover, so I can’t wait to see what else I come up with.
….. just a warning, there might be one more layout from the farm cause this Saturday marks day one of apple picking season. 😉 😉 😉
