Pictures, papers, and playtime.
That’s what #scrapmyweek is all about. Unfortunately, I was in a bit of a creative funk lately. Sometimes I think I expend my creative energy in so many other places that I tend to not have enough left over to give to myself. But thankfully, this weekend it’s like I got it all back! I had an “epiphany” if you will (and there will be more on that later), but basically I was given clarity on an issue I was having… and there’s something to be said about having a clear mind. It’s like my brain was all fogged up and now that the fog has been lifted, I’m feeling more like my happy little creative self again. Ahhh! *sigh of relief*
That being said, here are a few layouts I’m catching up on- in no particular order. 🙂
This layout is about the time Dana sent tulips to us… and Nadia claimed them all for herself. 😉 I love how the colors in the photo are a direct match with the colors on this floral paper from the Maggie Holmes “Chasing Dreams” collection. Too perfect!
Next up- #15.
Can’t tell you how much I love this one! And the best part is- it took only 5 minutes. 🙂 Gotta love those days when things go together almost effortlessly!
This layout shares a photo taken of me and my friends who I adore so much! We gathered every other Thursday at my church for our mama’s group, and now that our MOMentum meetings are over for the summer, we’re still gathering together as friends for a bible study. And playdates. And all the good things that make friendships fun and beautiful and fruitful. 🙂
And lastly, the one I made this morning. #16:
For this one, I decided to sew together some leftover scraps of paper I had saved so I could create a background for the layout. I wanted to make this page about my morning routine, and, well, obviously that coffee-themed paper was perfect. 😉
That’s it! I actually filmed a process video for this layout that you can watch here:
I hope you enjoyed these! Have a great day! XOXO
Oops! I’m sorry- I almost forgot to add in the photos that Nadia wanted me to take….
That’s better! 😉
